I don't have the foggiest notion what it's called, but we have a 1 1/2 person chair in the front parlor. It's microfiber and has a tall back, arms at the perfect height, and it's a recliner. There's room for me - which is about a person and a half, AND space for cats... Extremely comfortable and positioned properly so the stereo is properly balanced when in it..... It's one of the reasons I like being up in the middle of the night - can go downstairs, put on some baroque classical (Back, Vivaldi, compilation of John Williams on guitar) so it's JUST audible, plop with my tablet, and enjoy to quiet of the world while reading my current book...
