I have had three different Sony readers, (505, 600, and the 303) as well as a Nook classic. That said, I am considering getting a Kindle paperwhite. I have a number of Kindle books that I read on my iPad/iPhone, and have learned that I can use Calibre to convert my open epub books to Kindle format.

My question is, what happens to books that are converted in Calibre and loaded into a Kindle? (I apologise if this has been answered before, I did search the forum before posting.) In the Nook, any non-Nook books are placed in a folder called My Documents, not Books. In a Sony, any book I add, as long as it it an epub appears in Books. So, in a Kindle, do non-native Kindle books appear in a different section or are they added into the Kindle book library?
