Yes, the bug came back in 3.0.0. It has been fixed in 3.1.1, but that was only released for the Glo, Aura and Aura HD. Except for one problem, it is safe to install on the Touch. Some people have found that the PC can't see the USB connection. It is running fine on my N90 Touch. I think that the problem is happening more on the N905C.

If you want to try it, take a copy of all the files on the device. Then install 3.1.1. Only use the "KoboRoot.tgz" file from the firmware package. If the USB connection doesn't work, do a factory reset, get back to 3.0.1 and then restore all the files you copied off.
