I can afford a username just fine. Why would I? As tracking becomes more invasive, why would anyone use a first initial, last name for anything? If (for example), jdoe exists here.. then I write a quick script to could blast emails to
jdoe@hotmail.com,
jdoe@gmail.com,
jdoe@yahoo.com.
I've got nothing to hide. I'm just not going to share what/where/when/why/how with Marketing Companies that mine this sort of data (unless they'd like to pay me for it, or provide free Internet access.)
