I've never needed to do this in bulk so there may be a way to do it but I don't know how. I'm not very techie and don't tend to experiment unless I have to.
I don't know about this method working with AZW3. Isn't that the proprietary format for Kindle Fire? Are those books readable through the Kindle app on a non Fire device? Someone else would have to chime in here.
