While I still marvel at just how light the MacBook Air is...there's very little I need a laptop for anymore, and none of it is stuff I need to do when I travel. My current iPad is usually more than adequate for my travel needs, though I do sometimes take a Bluetooth keyboard along if I anticipate doing any significant writing.

(The Kindle goes along with me either way--WAY better battery life, even on the PW2, & easier for me to read on without getting distracted.)

So I guess the question is, what can you do on the MBA that you can't do with the iPad, and do you really need that particular capability on this trip?
