Well, a big chunk of my purchasing this year has been conversions - transforming ent corpses into electrons. Whenever I see a deal on that, I pounce, because it's far easier to find books on a hard drive than in boxes that are in storage.

Even so, while I'm grumbling about the Big Five no longer being promo-eligible at Kobo, I must admit that the resulting lack of backlist buying has been good for my wallet.
