I'm offering you practical advice based on many, many years usage of eInk devices, and seeing the mishaps that have befallen them in the hands of people in this forum. An eInk screen has a fragile glass "substrate" under the outer plastic screen, and any significant amount of rough treatment will fracture it. But hell, take the advice or leave it - it's entirely your choice.
