Good encryption program for documents?

I keep some documents on my Fire 1st Gen that I would like to keep encrypted until I need them in case it gets lost or stolen.

I found one, but it was way too complicated to decrypt. Forget the name, but had to go to a separate list of documents, pick one to decrypt, but then others still needed work. So, uninstalled the app.

On my computer I use AxCrypt. To decrypt, just right click, pick the program, enter a password, and it is back in its usual form. Ditto to encrypt.

Anybody found a good program that does this for documents?
