I certainly won't be walking anywhere. I figured my van was heavy enough and I'm in a well travelled area so I got out before the next round of nastiness hits.
I must admit it's a laugh to watch the dog do his usual leap out the door into the backyard...and then go sliding across the ice surface. Oh the look on his face is priceless! |
A bird landed on a branch of the tree, which is covered in ice, and slid the length of the branch until another smaller branch stopped his progress.
I also watch a squirel scampering through the tree only to find himself hanging upside down from a branch. He didn't fall and managed to right himself then carried on his way.
I was supposed to attend a party tonight. We have since decided to postpone.
PS: I win.
