Original publisher was Kensington and they still list the author team on their pages, but not this book (no current books at the publisher, in fact).

So, yes, it's out of print and backlist indie published.

I think Amazon should police the publisher data better - give all proceeds to the publisher named, if the author puts in one that is an actual publishing house (or just hold all proceeds until they get a W9 that matches the publisher name and run it and the taxpayer ID by the IRS to make sure it matches; those with actual publishing houses would not have an issue with it, but it would stop some of the fake publishers used to specifically to get returned in searches).

And give us a field to see the KDP publisher/authors - doing that would drop some of the abuse, I suspect. Although the small presses that end up using KDP might not like it much.
