Just noticed something: the serial number is a bit different than the results google offers, N905Jxxx. I bought it in Japan so that may be what the J stands for. I didn't think the hardware would be different but it may (even just in order to control what's installed and stuff... Wouldn't surprise me coming from Rakuten -- or any [edit] japanese company).
