Here are the URL schemes to launch Marvin and download books into your library:

To launch Marvin from another app: marvinapp://
To make Marvin download a book and import it into your library: marvinhttp://<url-encoded url to the book>

e.g. marvinhttp://http%3A%2F%2Fwww.feedbooks.com%2Fbook%2F88.epub

If you have a website hosting books, you can add marvinhttp:// links to your them so they’re sent directly to Marvin without showing an “Open in…” popup.
