I'm happy it made you laugh, and relieved to discover I'm not alone on this. I think one of the problems is that the open space for the screen put more stress on the material surrounding it, causing it to stretch out of shape. Maybe they should have designed as a solid piece with openings for the buttons and have perforations in the area surrounding the screen so that the user can remove that section after applying the skin. I think that might make it easier to handle.
