Well it's not so obvious. I mean, RMSDK (Adobe epub reader) is not flawless at all. The most obvious issue is the long paragraph issue which is quite horrible (and I've been suffering it since my old Sony PRS-650). Another example is
this issue with images, (which I posted in PRS+ bugtracker just in case they could hack and fix it), that I have also checked it's present in my new Aura HD.
So, maybe Kobo is not in a rush to solve issues, but I can assure you that Adobe (or its subsidiaries) are even "slower" (being polite).
OTOH you have Image Browser or Floating Footnotes in kepubs. And of course tons of other "little" issues as a lot of people (myself included) continuously post.
There's no clear winner, no matter how you look at it. Currently I'm on kepubs rather than epubs but I cannot tell you exactly
why.
