Finally picked up an HDX. All you early adopters have had sufficient time to develop passionate relationships with your tabs and their accessories. I think I can use my first gen adapter to charge the HDX -- is that correct? I need a case. The user had a roo executive case on her gen one fire and I'm leaning that way. If you have strong opinions, please weigh in.

BTW, I felt like a moron trying to use the origami case.
