Brian has the same problem. The Nexus 7 is not defected it's the app that is broken. Have you even read any of the reviews on it? Alot of people can't even get it to open or are missing books it's constantly force closing wont let them log in....the problems go on and on since the December 13 update.

All other apps behave as it's suppose to it's the Kindle app that is broken. I submitted a bug report and I will wait to hear back from Amazon.
