On one hand, we will fade as a race. Look up at the stars. There are no radio stations. The 'competitive' instinct of intelligence is ultimately self-destructive.
Ont the other hand, this world is an illusion. All that is real in it are the living creatures and their attachment to addictions and repulsions.
