This might add too much to the overall cost.
I would prefer a standard USB connector with retractable cable both packaged in the unit. When not in use cable retracts. To plugin I just pull out connector and plugin. That way I wouldn't have to carry around separate cable and worry about where I left it, if I forgot it, etc. Additional cost would be minimal.
