This book is not romantic suspense like the other books in the series. I would rate it regular romance with alot old war flashbacks of one character who is not the hero. The secondary romance was the only thing that kept me reading. I've been told by many the other books do not follow this formula and are romantic suspense so you just have to get through this one to get to the better books.
