Melville - Moby Dick
Tolkien - The Silmarillion
Asimov - The Robot Series
Abercrombie - The First Law Triology (Highly Highly recommended fantasy title)
Kerouac - On the Road
Weelock Thayer - The Life of Ludwig van Beethoven (dry read but I love Beethoven so much, I plowed through this in one go)
