Samsung is selling 64 million smartphones a year, and they cost a pretty penny compared to an ebook, so I see a vendor selling 50 mln ebooks as fully possible.
50 million books sounds a lot ..... but it may just be a drop in the ocean ....

Anyone know how many ebooks Kobo sells per annum?
