For me, 85off and the other one (75off?) actually worked multiple times, but that could be because all books I've bought were by the same publisher. If others are only getting one use, I don't know why I get multiple.

For me, they are. I used three of the 65% codes today. I think you have to grab and use them before anyone else does. Took me some time to grasp that fact; I thought for a long time that a contest code was for one use *per account*, but that's not the case. I was just thinking: "Ah well, probably wrong book/publisher/countery/whatever".
