Charlie, I wonder if a lot of the disagreement has to do with the book vs the TV series character... For example, I absolutely love "Mrs. Peel" from the 'Avengers' series. (How could one not?
) Head over heels lust. Yet I feel absolutely nothing for Dianna Rigg, the very talented Shakespearean actress who plays the part. I really appreciate the TV series 'Susan' (no lust there, but I like her,) but don't particularly care for this actress in other roles.
