I buy something from Amazon EVERY day and many times three times in one day. I buy everything from bathroom supplies, cleaning supplies, clothing, food, electronics, eBooks, songs, cameras, and whatever turns me on for that day.
It certainly beats wasting time in a big box store or a supermarket, plus, I get ONE DAY delivery, most of the time.
I've used Mayday to speak direct to Amazon in seconds about all kinds if issues and get referred right there to the proper person. Again, neither Apple nor Nexus has Mayday or its equivalent. The HDX 2013 is my window to the Amazon super-super-market. In addition the HDX 2013 plays all my music in my selected playlists and allows me to see other songs by any of those artists and buy them right there as I listen to them.
Plus, with MyUPS I get an email with the exact date and time of delivery allowing me to change it if I won't be home.
I pay NOT to have any ads but buy regardless.
Reading eBooks is just one of dozens of uses for the HDX 2013 which are NOT provided by Apple or Nexus.
There is NO WAY one can buy thousands of consumer products from Apple or Nexus.
