This file stores the bookmarks and last opened information from the calibre ebook viewer. You can remove it if you do not need that information, or dont want to share it with other people you send this book to.
Surprisingly when using F7 (check book) it is revealed that calibre's own bookmarks addition is not recognized as it is not listed in the manifest. Although the warning is technically correct, calibre IMHO should take care for this as the bookmarks are a genuine (calibre) feature.
