My HDX doesn't have these popups and to be quite honest just about all tablets can be accused of the same thing in someway or another. There isn't a tablet out there that doesn't point you to their store so you can purchase more stuff. To accuse Amazon of this, when google, apple, samsung and a whole host of others that sell tablets and have their own stores and do the same thing is simply ludicrous.

So they have special offers for screen savers, first they are not intrusive and secondly, can be turned off. But to exagerate and say "Buy Me" popups everywhere is purely untrue.
