The 8.9 does not use Blue LEDs it uses white and the difference is HUGE!

Yes, the difference is huge.....about $200 huge. I'm pretty sure that a magazine such as PC World knows the 8.9 exists, yet they chose to specifically single out the HDX 7 as the third best tech product of the year. Believe it or not, there are things to prefer about the 7" over the 8.9": better bang-for-the-buck, easier to hold one-handed, lighter, and when you start getting too high-resolution of screens on too-big screens, you start getting into this weird zone where text is too tiny. No, I'm fully prepared to accept PC World's declaration that the HDX 7 is the best non-Microsoft tablet released in the past 12 months.
