By the way, here are my top 2 favourite fonts... I got to know them via the Marvin e-reader for iOS:
  • Volkhov — my primary day-mode font in Moon+; very distinctive, as if half-bold in appearance
  • Arvo — my primary night-mode font in Moon+: very distinctive and readable in "light on dark" themes (similar in appearance to Caecilia from Kindle)
The only disadvantage of these two free fonts: they do not support the full Unicode range, so they only work for Western-European languages like English, German, Spanish, or French.

However, the Sorts mill goudy font whose screenshot I posted earlier doesn't have this restriction; nor does Calluna.

I also like Vollkorn in Moon+, but again, this one only works in Western-European languages.
