No. That statement is a generic "file not supported" one. Since this pops up frequently, I have my doubts as to whether such an app exists. It may, but reading open epubs and pdfs is something I don't do. I only read Kindle books from the library. As such, finding a solution for this problem is extremely low on my list of priorities.
