I experience simmilar problems. I did email the supplier about it, and they adviced me to upgrade the firmware. I did it.

Now I have to wait until the battery discarches. You know, it takes a while to do it on M92 ;-). At the moment my battery is at two notches and so far no freezes.

BTW I never experienced slow response at low battery condition. Only the freezes.
