I forgot you had last year's model. It's a nice tablet. I'm not sure if the upgrade it worth it unless you want a tablet that is lighter or smaller than last year. They say the HD is a sequel to last year's Kindle Fire NonHD version. I tend to think it's a mixture. It's like the they took a little from the HD and non HD and came up with this year's HD model.
