Radio controlled model aircraft are illegal in the US? That's difficult to believe.

EDIT: Ah, on reading the article more closely I see they are legal for hobbyists, but not for commercial use. That still strikes me as a little odd - they are very heavily used for commercial aerial photography in the UK.
