If I understood correctly this hack is not compatible with firmware 3.1.0 that the device has automatically installed during the first setup.
By the way it seems strange to me that we, the users, are forced to patch the firmware! This is clearly a bug... it is an e-book reader, right? Well some pages have no sense...
