The main reason I chose not to get an S3 (which is known for being less fussy than the S4) was because I knew I couldn't live with its screen resolution for the next two or three years.
The voice and motion implementation on the S4 isn't terribly important to me (though I'm amazed by the relative accuracy of dictation in a quiet place), but some of the other added features have been invaluable.
Pity the Note 3 sounds so much better as a standalone music player; it also plays high-resolution FLAC files. Sadly, I find it necessary to use a DAC with the S4.
