The right cover can make all the difference. I hated the official Kobo sleep cover and sold it right away. The I use is form fitting, the Glo snaps in and the cover sleeps and wakes. (Although the magnet is so strong, I can't fold the cover all the way back or it turns off).
I could never find one like that for my Mini, so I have the one you linked to (but mini sized). Now that one, I had to add my own magnet to get it to wake and sleep. Once I got the right magnet, and some blue electrical tape, it became great. That cover is a little padded, which makes it pleasant to hold.
