Some books that have a lot of italics like the Forever War look dreadful and are somewhat harder to read too. I'm a bit fussy about formatting admittedly as I don't want my ebooks to deviate to much from how the printed books look. I'm not sure if Kobo books are ever updated with new versions after you buy.

I downloaded the Adobe DRM Epub and it displays perfectly in Adobe Digital Editions so the problem is definitely with the Kepub.
