I did search posts you have made on the Apple forum and most, if not all, are against Apple or users than own Apple products. So clearly, it's not mere opinion but deliberated intention of saying bad things about Apple. As a matter of fact, you currently don't own any iPad, so really I don't get why you visit Apple products then. It's like someone going to Onyx forum for a year or two just to criticize and say bad things about it. It would be different if it's coming from someone who bought it and later sold it because it was not pleased with it. So I am sorry, but we call that trolling a forum. And I'm not trying to be offensive it's just what it is. It's typical in Amazon as well coming from some users of the completion.

It's nice when people provide their opinion but when the posts are just to bash products just for the mere act of doing it, it starts to be annoying.

Three people told you that the Retina Mini does not have a poor screen, people who bought it, but you insists, citing an online review from someone that still recommends it.

I honestly don't understand the bad feeling of some against a company like Apple. Yes, the products are expensive, so what? Some people have the desire and money to buy them. We're in a free market.

And yes, I own two iPads, Retina Mini and Air. I also own a Nook HD, Kindle Touch, Kindle PW1 and Kindke PW2. I also have several Linux boxes at home (so I'm not an Apple fanboy), one Windows box and two Macs. I don't own Apple stocks, by the way, but I do own Microsoft stocks. However, I own a PS4, which is a Sony, but don't like Sony ereaders. I'm really open minded to anything that is technology related, including readers and tablets.
Look, I'm expressing my opinion, just like everybody else does. I'm not calling people trolls, fanboys or jerks as others do, I simply say what I think in a civilized manner. If you don't like what I have to say, feel free to make use of the ignore feature on the forum.

I don't specifically go to the apple forum, I check the "last 24 hours" section and I read the threads that call my attention, be that news, android, apple or whatnot, and when I have something I think is worth saying, I do so.

And as others have said, not currently owning a device does not mean I have to refrain from commenting on the shortcoming on said device, especially when knowledge on such shortcomings is well publicised - I'm not telling lies.

Your opinion is that "there is no problem with the mini's screen". That's all good, but my opinion is that, when something costs significantly more than the competition, it should offer much better features, and the screen on the mini falls way short of that - 63% gamut in the tail end of 2013 is pathetic, and the fact that you have to pay top dollar for it makes it that much worse. Feel free to disagree as much as you want, but the info is out there: the screen is subpar.
