Existing members who signed up for this deal had better double check their credit card bills.
I signed up for it last night, the system showed the promotional offer, showed I'd be charged half price. I looked at my account this morning and saw a full price month's charge. I call Audible just now and was told the offer was just for new members who have never used any promo before. They refunded my $16.00 and cancelled the membership.
I do NOT think it's OK for their eCommerce system to show one price and then charge more. It could have simply told me I'm not eligible, like it has with other promos. This smacks of fraud (but I'm sure it's just incompetence). They didn't even offer me an apology credit of any kind....
