Funny that you guys are talking about windows 8. I just got my pre present, was a BB black friday deal hubby got me. Its a netbook with touch screen and W8 of course. It replaces a netbook with XP. My desktop has W7.
Until he put 8.1 on it, I was about to throw it out the window. Now I am good. But then I go seemless from xp to W7. I do have a lot of fancy schmancy stuff turned off in w7, so its not that different from xp really. I still like XP.
W8 though was a real jump. Not sure I would want that on my desktop though. I need to see my folders and paths and all that to work.
On the other hand, I got used to all the versions going back to the stone age, so its just me not wanting to move on I guess.
