Though I think "serviced" has a connotation for some people that is best avoided for the clearer "served," it actually is within the scope of the definition of service:

"to provide (someone) with something that is needed or wanted"

And it's not a recent usage either, like such abominations as "irregardless".

More on topic: I would say either here or manybooks.net for free books in addition to whatever is at your retailer of preference (B&N, Amazon, Kobo, etc.)
