Hello Ken,
When I followed the steps after connecting, I reached this stage:

So.. I disconnected the device and started the "Add new device" wizard manually from control panel. (This way, you get to decide exactly what class of device you are going to install). Clicking on Network Adapters --> Microsoft shows that there are no USB type (Remote NDIS) network adapter drivers available:
