I was reading this not to long ago, and while I think that its a heck of a nice idea. I'd like to see it without having to use Java. Something coded in DHTML (AJAX princpals or not) could easily work with any phone, and it would be as simple as saving a favorite, instead of downloading an app.

As a recent new user to QuickNews, I have to say that this interface really trumps what I have come to like with QN's interface. Shoot, if the PalmOS could do a native AJAX app, QN would be dang near perfect (at least when connected wirelessly).
