What do you mean metadaa search and replace? I have the asin in all of my files but I thought they had to be in the book when it is converted?? Is there a way to get the asin recognized by Amazon without converting the file in Calibre? It seems my ASIN is overwritten if the file is converted. I've run into this problem when converting from mobi to azw3.
