I don't have a PRST2 but if I remember correctly, on my PRST1 with PDFs, size 2 is a 'special' size which reads the PDF 'as it should be' (i.e. no text or images will be lost). All other PRS sizes are reading the PDF in 'reflow mode', which as you probably know, can be a bit hit-and-miss.
