Welcome! We were just in NC last week, making the rounds of the tourist gem mines, just wandering wherever the notion took us. I think I found my retirement emerald, a big old hunk of green rock, at Spruce Pine! We ended the week at Biltmore, which is a place we kept wanting to visit but never could work out the timing.
