You may want to try clearing your previous attempts at getting this to work:
delete the book (both copies) AND the .sdr folders.
Re-download the book through the Kindle.
delete the .azw3 but NOT the .sdr
Use calibre Send to Device to transfer the book. If you like, confirm the book is updated by polishing as per my previous post.
Go to the .azw3 calibre sent, in E:\documents\Rothfuss, Patrick\The Name of the Wind: The Kingkiller Chronicle: Day One\. Move it to the E:\documents\ folder.
rename it to match the .sdr folder.
