Hi, I have a similar issue that I think is relevant to this thread, but if it isn't let me know so I create a new one.

I bought "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss from Amazon... and the file itself seems to have no cover. I'd be ok with the thumbnail you guys mention, but I'm using a Kindle screensaver "hack" that shows the cover for the book you're reading as the screensaver...... problem is with this particular book I'm seeing the title page instead of the actual cover.

Is there any way to tweak the cover with Calibre on the AZW3 WITHOUT losing the Amazon features like X-Ray and Sync? I've successfully tweaked the cover, but the result is recognized by my Kindle as non-official, so I lose the X-Ray.
