Das war von mir ein wenig unglücklich formuliert. Den "Stechlin" habe ich als DAS Spätwerk Fontanes kennengelernt, und so hatte ich das auch gemeint, unabhängig davon, wie viel später als "Effi Briest" er geschrieben oder verlegt wurde.
