I registered just to post on this thread. I, too, am having a hard time deciding which would be best to get: the Air or Mini Retina.
Has anyone used either with the Safari Books app? I have a subscription to Safari through my workplace and wish to be able to read tech books on the device. I also want to read for pleasure on the device eventually, but I am not sure which app to use for that purpose.
Basically, my intention for my future tablet is primarily for reading textbooks and for pleasure. But I will also use it occasionally for browsing the internet and reading forum posts
I'm worried that the Mini might be too small for reading tech books, but that the Air will be too big and cause fatigue. Any suggestions to help steer me either way? I plan to visit an Apple store soon, but any feedback is greatly appreciated!
